This Yves Saint Laurent Peasant top with balloon sleeves and made from silk velvet features a subtle zipper closure on the side and a fitted bodice. It was made around the late 1970s or early 1980s and would have originally been designed to be worn with a full skirt. It is is worn off-shoulder here, but can also worn with the sleeves on the shoulder.
The original size is French 38 and corresponds to modern small, but please see the measurements for the right fit. The model is a size xs/s and wears the top unpinned.
This piece is in very good condition overall, although please note that this is a vintage item and may present with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.
